← A Strawbees Webinar: Inclusive Innovation with BirdBrainAt Strawbees, education is more than academic success. It’s about giving every student the tools to shape a better future. One way we do that is by aligning our learning experiences with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), helping students connect STEM and creativity to real-world challenges.
In partnership with UNIC (United Nations Information Centre), Strawbees has brought hands-on STEM learning into classrooms across the globe — from Bogotá, Colombia to Ghana, Africa. These workshops introduce students to design thinking, sustainability, and collaboration through Strawbees kits and SDG-aligned lessons.
“Working with entities such as Strawbees who focus on educational tools to communicate sustainable thinking and living is exactly what we are after.”— Hélène Papper, Director of UNIC for Colombia, Ecuador, and Venezuela
Experience one of our SDGs workshops in action and hear from students and educators.
In every workshop and classroom integration, we strive to:
Link STEAM skills with global competencies
Foster creative problem-solving
Equip teachers with resources tied to local curricula and global goals
Our lessons and tools are inspired by invention literacy, encouraging students to invent, iterate, and make a meaningful impact.
We’re not just building bridges between straws. We’re connecting students to the world around them. With over 400,000 learners impacted globally, our mission remains clear: deliver quality education for everyone.
