ABOUT the Workshop

Strawbees workshops are hands on building sessions for makers of all ages. Our activities vary from workshop to workshop as they are designed specially for you by our team together with you, and require no previous knowledge or skills. We believe that everyone is creative in their own unique way and Strawbees is merely a tool to inspire and stimulate to create and invent. The duration of the workshops vary depending on the type of activity.

Strawbees workshops are really fun and ideal for specialized building events in schools and maker spaces, maker fairs and even a great team building event for families or organisations big and small. Book a chat with one of our team members to know more about what kinds of activities would be best for what you’re looking for!

ABOUT the Facilitator

Erik Torstensson is many things in one - a mechanical engineer, serial entrepreneur and maker of things. He was named maker of the year 2014 by Maker Fair for his efforts in science education and encouraging making in schools around the world.

An entrepreneur and visionary to the core, Erik Thorstensson is aiming for what they call "production hacking". By making products out of factories' surplus materials and thereby reduce waste from Swedish production industries while transforming leftovers into beautiful objects. Erik is super friendly and full of great ideas, we promise!
